We'll see you at one of our four, outdoor pop-up events in October. Each pop-up event is hosted by a different community partner and a portion of the proceeds supports their important work. Check out the full schedule of partners and locations below!
3) Plants for the Planet - Proceeds for the Community
Your new native plants will enhance the habitat in our neighborhoods and build climate resilience, while a portion of the proceeds will support our community partner hosts. In 2025, we expect to distribute over 80,000 native plants and give back up to $40,000 to our community partners!

Pop-up #1 - Milwaukie
Pick-up plants on Fri, Oct 3 or Sat, Oct 4 in Milwaukie (Milwaukie Lutheran Church, 3810 SE Lake Rd) to support North Clackamas Watersheds Council (NCWC)! NCWC protects and enhances the watersheds of North Clackamas County for fish, wildlife and people. Proceeds from this event will support community education, watershed events, and restoration of healthy habitat, including the removal of Kellogg Dam.
Pick-up your plants on Fri, Oct 10 or Sat, Oct 11 at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge (19255 SW Pacific Hwy) to support Friends of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge and Oregon Chinese Coalition (OCC). Friends of TRNWR is dedicated to protecting and restoring refuge habitats as well as providing nature education and recreation. The Oregon Chinese Coalition has been helping them achieve this mission since 2021 through restoration work parties and community education events, including an annual nature-based youth art contest.
Pick-up your plants at Montgomery Park (2701 NW Vaughn St) on Fri, Oct 17 or Sat, Oct 18 to support Forest Park Conservancy (FPC). FPC is a community-supported organization whose mission is to protect and restore the ecological health of Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park, maintain and enhance their extensive trails networks, promote equitable access, and inspire diverse community appreciation and stewardship of these iconic urban forests for generations to come. Proceeds from this sale will support FPC’s ability to host volunteer work parties, provide free public educational events to the public, conduct advocacy work, and more.
Pick-up your plants in the Cully Neighborhood (Morning Star Church, 4927 NE 55th Ave) on Fri, Oct 24 or Sat, Oct 25 to support Verde! Verde partners with communities to address environmental and economic justice issues through social enterprise, outreach, and advocacy. By selecting Verde’s pick-up location, you will help them reduce the utility bills of energy-burdened community members through community solar projects and the installation of energy-efficient home heating and cooling systems. You will also help them advocate for policies that promote air quality, energy efficiency, water, and transportation justice AND support their Urban Habitat Team build healthy ecosystems by planting native plants and installing no-cost rain gardens!

We're a new kind of nursery - offering online sales with several convenient pick-up options each fall and spring. Our goal is to bring native plants to neighborhoods that don't otherwise have access to them, at unbeatable prices. Plus, a portion of all proceeds goes back to the community organizations that host our pick-up events.
